Primeval season 1 review

 

Episode #1.4 Lester begins interrogating Helen Cutter in a high-tech Home Office maximum security wing, but gets nowhere; she demands that Nick be brought to her. Meanwhile Connor achieves his dream and moves in with Abby, to the amazement of his friends Tom and Duncan, who decide to put a tracker on him and thereby follow the team to a sport stadium where another anomaly has opened in the restaurant kitchens. Tom and Duncan manage to take a dodo home with them before they realize it has a very nasty bite.

Notes:
Recap again Helen's back by force.... opening scene a sound like a tiger and looks like kicks chasing a ball a woman screams at them and goes back to her bathroom where her little boy is at. It looks as if there is a snake in the toilet. Great cause I needed that especially with me heading to India and going to a bathroom in a hole that’s in the ground. Yep needed to see the snake thing that helps so much thank you Primeval.

Flash to Helen at a table who looks pissed off

NERD MOMENT: or a side note either way is fine I don’t’ understand why or how her boobs manage to stay so perky when she’s been in a far, far away land with no shower, or toilets and no clothing and yet she’s clean and her boobs are nice and her hair is colored and managed…I’m just saying I live in USA and my hair, boobs and clothing don’t look nearly as good as hers… nerd moment/rant/side note over.

and tells Leister that he's kidnapping her you know except for the fact that she's considered dead so it’s technically not kidnapping. Have I mention how much Leister is growing on me. I mean I personally think he’s a douche, but a douche that for some reason I’m starting to support LOL.

They have another anomaly call out and everyone rolls in all bad assery love how the kids have their hands up ready to be arrested like they assumed the position. Stephen kicks a ball C calls him a bloke Stephen replies jealous. SO up they run a bunch of bloody stairs only to hear Cutter telling them to relax it was only a python. The woman screams and says only a python what the hell were you expecting? Conner holds his ear and says owie lol Man I really heart him.

Back to Helen who of course knew this whole time it was a false alarm but now Leister knows she knows (you know LOL sorry couldn’t resist). Leister tells her it’s her duty as a citizen to tell them the information on the anomalies but Helen being the witty shit she is tells him as he pointed out earlier she doesn't exist so how can it be her duty. Claudia sticks up for Leister and states that at the end of the day it is about saving lives so just help. Yeah bitch help geez. Helen demands that Nick be brought to her and she will tell them everything they need to know. What is he a cabana boy? I know in the US we don't negotiate with Terrorists and honestly at this point I say put a bullet in her head and let’s move on. But apparently no one cares what I think so they ignore the suggestions.

Apparently Claudia and Cutter are a flirting in a weird twisted way but, Claudia admits that she needs him... well to help with his damn ex-wife Whom by and by no one likes. Talk about an ex that won't go away yo. Cause sometimes throwing in getto talk helps the situation.

Back to the bathroom with Stephen holding the python and Conner trying to reassure him by telling him it’s only a baby they can grow up to 20 feet long. Stephen happily hands over the snake to Abby and leaves for a bigger sack when really he’s scared. Just in case you weren’t able to figure that out on your own. While Stevens away Conner will play by asking Abby for a favor she says whatever we’ll talk about it in a minute which Conner takes as a yes. Abby leaves for a “tea break” while Steven and Conner look at each other Conner being the brave little man he is says, “I’m not touching it” Please keep in mind this whole time Conner has been sitting on the pot typing on the computer…

Helen vs. Cutter and the show down begins. PS Cutter is EXTREMELY PISSY with Helen as he should be. It just cracks me up b/c I’ve never seen him this pissy. That’s not true he was like that with Conner. Helen tells Cutter that Saber Tooth killers will be going thru London soon. Cue scary music

Conner arrives at Abby’s with his two nerdy not good friends who have set him up yet again. DAMN STUPIDs. Abby is in her underwear again and apparently she only wears pants when she is out in public. Conner is smart enough to wiggle a kiss out of Abby in front of his friends which only makes dumb and dumber D & D well you know. Oh and another side note Abby’s freaking flat is amazing!!! Conner strips to undies and Steven shows up with both in their undies I wonder what he’s thinking. Really he’s over there b/c Helen has decided to spread information. I personally don’t think it’s true. She’s not as callous as we image really Nick really?

So Helen gets to go to a soccer arena it looks like she is way too excited to “be helping” bitch has something planned I’m telling you. Why does Conner have to open the door isn’t that what Special Forces are for? Claudia calls her out on her bluff. Wait why does the fugitive we don’t trust have a big ass knife? When and how does that make sense? Oh look an anomaly. So when they open up the fridge the magnetic pull happens Cutter yells get down where everyone but Conner apparently does. Steven catches a pot before it hits him and tells Conner, “This is where you duck” LOL Conner agrees and gets down. Everything metal in the damn kitchen gets sucked in. Meanwhile Conner’s stupid friends have followed him to the soccer field. Helen runs into the supposed anomaly that tigers were supposed to be coming out of TOLD YOU SHE WAS FULL OF IT! Stupid woman hate her.

Well Ryan SF goes into the anomaly to get Helen back Steven follows only to discover a plane of a thousand anomalies that was that clever woman’s plan all along. The team is such awe of this they forget to block the damn anomaly they have and so an incoming occurs of dodo birds… yes you read that right dodo birds and they have some nasty things with them that Conner’s stupid friends take home. Any way before that all occurs there’s this stupid Scooby Doo like scene as SF and Cutter and gang try to round up all the birds and put them back. It’s kind of like trying to round up a chicken penguin breed. They’re cute and stocky but not in to being cornered… nor very bright. Of course one of the birds eats the tracking device any who you see where this is going and how it will end. Oh also like I said very Scooby Doo in the monster chasing the kids before it gets caught moment.

Abby thinks their cute Conner thinks “they’re so dumb” Which Abby disagrees with not dumb just trusting. They manage to get the dodo’s back through the anomaly. It’s not too long before we hear “Professor we have a dodo down” LOL Conner thinks its b/c he ate all the pies turns out not true. So they go to cut up the dead dodo (cause you just can’t type that statement enough) When they do the bird moves they freak and hey did you know it’s not just muscle spasms?

Okay so something EXTEMELY NASTY just came out of the dead dodo’s mouth making everyone in the room go ugh and me choke back a scream slash disgusting ugh myself. Whatever the worm like creature is it goes after Abby. So meanwhile back at D & D’s house the kidnapped dodo keeps trying to eat the remote finally attacking the TV when it hears a loud roar from a fake T-Rex. Needless to say the violence escalates from there as it attacks one of the D’s which FYI not in their nature normally.

Ooh so we just got a science and as Jack O’Neil would say a waste of a perfectly good explanation cause whatever. Needless to say the stupid one of D & D that got bit doesn’t look good for him. Speaking of which he’s on the floor not feeling good the dodo locked up is attacking the bulb D the fat not smart one but the one that hasn’t been bitten runs from the other that tried to attack him. He then goes to Conner to get help who calls in the Calvary. Apparently they stole government property which is treason. They find the dead dodo and Steven ask “you know those movies where you think the killer’s dead and they jump up again?” Ryan answers yes and he hates those films for the record I do too oh and so does Steven. So he lets Cutter go first to make sure its dead.

So the other half of D & D heads to the hospital in hopes of fixing whatever is wrong with him they find out he’s at the hospital and follow there. Oh and the guy bit a doctor who is definitely suffering from it. Claudia thinks Helen set them up Cutter says no I tend to side with Claudia. Infected D heads to Abby’s work place I’m guessing. She has figured out that he is infected. He doesn’t want to hurt her which is nice of him but still makes him scary as hell.

The other D is acting stupid and thinks everything is a conspiracy.  For some reason they head back to the stadium where it all began oh never mind it was to get to the anomaly which turns out is closed so that leads to infected D to chasing Abby b/c the parasite has completely taken over. Luckily Abby can handle herself to a point. D catches Abby and well tries to bite her they try to shoot him, but Conner interferes with stories of BG and them hanging out. This keeps him sane enough to fight until he dies naturally. Conner loses one of his close friends. He tells Cutter he can’t do this anymore. Cutter tells him that we need you and then hugs him such a sad sweet moment.

Primeval Season 1 Review

Since I haven't posted a TV review in a while I thought we were all due for a little Primeval action so with out further delay here's my review/thoughts as I watched episode 3 of season 1.

Episode #1.3 A prehistoric aquatic creature like a huge crocodile appears in a London swimming pool, eats a life guard, then vanishes. Later a Special Forces diver vanishes, but then the diver's bones turn up in a flooded basement in a town some way to the south west. Nick Cutter predicts that incidents will occur at places on a straight line through these two locations on the map of southern England. Eventually Cutter is allowed to go through an underwater anomaly, tethered by a safety rope a mile long. Finally, amid a prehistoric landscape, he meets his long missing wife.

My Notes and totally random thoughts while watching:

So a recap for those of you not paying attention to the previous 2 episodes which is sad if you aren’t b/c while the recap is helpful it’s not really at all. I do have to admit that I enjoy the opening song and I have no idea why on that but there you go. I have a feeling I am not going to look at a pool in the same way again after this stupid show. Seriously they take the one place I actually feel safe and corrupt it with an alligator of the bloody things. SO apparently if you are a lifeguard you can swim after hours. But, seeing how they are a boy and a girl I’m going with doing it after hours… Then again maybe she just wants her hair to be blow dried…Holy SHIT that man was just eaten like whole…. UGH.

Have I mentioned how much I heart the British accents? And seriously would Anthony be able to hear you through the glass? Cut to a meeting room with Conner throwing crap through the anomaly. Cutter tries to explain that the anomalies may not be as new as we thought. It appears we may have another one. Steven cannot remember a thing after he went into the tunnels. Abby shows up dressed up which is new. Conner wants Steven’s Ipod if he dies. We learn that Steven has a girlfriend which throws off Abby b/c she believed that Steven likes her. Aww Conner tells Abby she looks great as the girl thing LOL he’s so smitten that its cute.

Conner tries to call out Steven on being single and how he made Abby think so. But, Steven thinks it was Conner and while flattered he isn’t his type LOL. Oh noes a poor innocent girl is going to jail. Cut to a beach party or just a bunch of people floating in canoes when something nasty pops up. Oh wait its Anthony’s torso…My God Cutter is freaking hawt and he doesn’t even have a British accent I think it’s like a retarded Scottish accent… or Irish IDK either way it’s nice to hear and see.

Okay maybe I’m slow but if an alligator is eating people why the HELL would you want to go underwater where it threw up a body it couldn’t digest in a black scuba suit and a light… where does that get smart? I am digging Claudia Brown – I use to sit in Civil Servant meetings that were so boring they made suicide look like a exciting career option LOL. Oh look Conner has found something! Damn even the birds are scared people in scuba gear be careful or you might be next.

Oh well never mind you scuba guys b/c the steam gave away where the anomaly is. Cutter - You don’t have to worry about me Claudia – I’m not I’m just thinking of all the paperwork I’d have to do if you drowned. You have no idea the amount of paperwork involved. Love that girl.

More people go into the ocean while Conner and Abby go and collected samples. And for some reason Conner defends Steven and then changes his mind b/c let’s face it Abby was made for Conner ;-)

Uh Oh Conner knows the creature is coming and calls on Abby to help point it out. Now that is creepy how do they keep from booking it? I have to say I would have freaked the F@ck out and ran like the little B@tch I am…

It circles Abby and she is for sure nervous Conner tries to come to her rescue but she tells him a harsh whisper DON’T MOVE

Can I say I am really surprised that an underwater guy in scuba gear doesn’t get eaten? Conner yells for Abby to move and they do barely getting away thanks to a stupid fence Conner beats at the creature with an oar which it manages to get stuck like a tooth pick I hate when that happens. Needless to say it goes back to sea and back through the anomaly. Not picking up any snacks on the way then it closes.  Conner guesses what it was that nearly ate them.

Apparently I was wrong a diver did go through and didn’t make it back. Abby hugs Conner b/c he saved her life. Back to the board room where we compare anomaly to earthquakes and fault lines. I love when Cutter thinks he is right ALL the TIME. So now we are at a house for some reason… what’s going to happen an alligator in the toilet? OH GOD b/c I needed that image…
Nope apparently it’s just going to flood the basement. And Conner’s friends well idiot friends who didn’t do him any favors last week are back. Conner thankfully is smart enough to walk away. Except they don’t accept it, and of course they have to interfere again. Uh Oh Steven is having flash backs and sees Helen again. How come his jacket doesn’t fit? Surely he could afford a bomber jacket or a more fitted jacket. And the secret comes out apparently Cutter has known for a while that Helen is alive. But, Steven tries to defend her. OH and for those of you keeping track Cutter is Scottish which might explain the accent and why it’s so different. Course I’m use to Beckett @PaulyMcGillion on SGA and his accent is just damn sexy.

Who the hell has a crane in the basement? That’s a weird statue oh shit no it’s not a statue its real and pecking/eating a man LOL why was that funny I had no idea it was real so it was funny, but not b/c you know someone actually died from it *clears throat*. That’s not right stupid plumber shouldn’t have been eaten. Oh dead scuba man appears magically and he has a handkerchief that happens to be Helen’s the plot has thickened. At least now we know where the urban legend of an alligator in the sewer comes from or I guess basement in this case. Who the hell still carries handkerchiefs? I mean besides Helen. Oh Claudia pulls out he handkerchief is like don’t lie Cutter. Cutter tries to defend himself by saying it’s a message that Helen is waiting on the other side. Claudia is pissed why you didn’t tell me YOU LIED to all of us. Cutter pulls the she’s my wife. Claudia cries foul.

Steven tells Abby that he remembers and knows why she is mad at him. Abby isn’t hearing any of it. Oh noes the big man on campus arrives its Lester himself.  Conner – she’s still alive how did I miss that? Lester tells Cutter he will bring her back as a ultimate threat bring her back or we cut the ties. Steven… you have an hour of air and a mile of rope. In two hours we will reel you in… how does that make sense? I mean if you only have an hour shouldn’t you reel him in at like say 55 minutes you know just to be safe? I think if I were Cutter I would ask for a new team mate seriously someone who knows that reeling me in after 2 hours means I’m dead. What if there was no land on the other side? How would that extra hour help me in any way shape or form? And while we are on the subject why a person would go through when you have no way of knowing when the stupid anomaly will close? And why when you got to a space in time in the past where LARGE creatures are trying to eat you would you yell at the top of your lungs for your ex-wife who doesn’t give a shit about your safety or she could have met you half way…

Oh good she is swimming nude that’s not sexy at all. I really hate how she always keeps her shirt unbutton so that her boobs show.  And how did her clothing remain so clean and intact for 8 years. What’s with the full body cover that covers her whole body but her boobs? I really hate that she is trying so hard to seduce the man who loved her until she faked her death.

Apparently there’s been an attack the creature how traveled through the anomaly into the sewers. Nope sorry I was wrong on that... ignore that last comment. Nick wants to know why Helen came back after so long. Her response I’m horney… no wait that’s human and I only want to share it with you. Insert hair flip…Come with me in a sexy voice. Nick is like f@ck you. Helen – you’re rejecting me? Man talk about taking something personal geez. And then attacks him asking how he calls himself a scientist Cutter’s like no I call myself a human being and then leaves her ass. HA Helen with the boobs showing take that b*tch.

Oh his way back through a monster tries to eat him. OH NO! Watch out Nick! Yeah he made it Shit no he didn’t swim like the wind bullseye. He’s not going to make it let us not forget the British shows have no qualms of killing main stars. Oh Crap there goes his air. Stupid Steven I told you that was a bad idea. Oh crap the creature ate the other creature that Nick managed to wound. But, hey Nick you have no air let’s just stay in the past and watch this as your lungs can’t handle it. Thank God his time of 2 hours was up or he would’ve died. Oh wait he’s not breathing but, no worries cause Claudia Brown knows CPR so at least she can kiss you instead of Steven. Claudia orders the special forces peoples to go and get the B*tch Helen (my words not hers) b/c it’s out of her hands. Nick wakes up and apparently he is not allowed to leave the ambulance b/c of what he might do. Why? B/c they have arrested Helen they dragged her ass out.

And next time on Primeval… well I won’t give that away now will I.

Primeval Season 1 Review

Episode #1.2

Connor and Abby join forces to investigate another anomaly suspected of being in the New Forest (Hampshire/Dorset). Meanwhile gigantic bugs (beetles? spiders? ancient...) attack people on the London Underground and Professor Cutter concludes that another anomaly has opened up, to a much earlier prehistoric era --- the carboniferous. After a special forces sortie, he is persuaded to allow Abby to join the team as they go to see for themselves after Lester has agreed (under protest) to stop trains through the affected tunnel section.

Notes:

I have to admit that I LOVE me some Connor LOVE him I hope they keep him...

Okay now on to the real thoughts.

First up a recap of previously with Nick Cutter talking...

I have never understood why they have to do the recap on instant streaming or DVD like the person who is watching has never seen the episode before. Add to that I Have no idea why that bothers me so but it does and now I hope it bothers you.

On to a underground scene where a woman whose hot (temp hot , not the other hot) goes and opens a window when something gross comes through the window she screams and at least closes the window and an antenna gets cut off.

Next Connor bragging to his friends what he saw last episode and they don't believe him but they think he does so of course something isn't going to end well.

Cutter and Steve are reviewing Helen's work to find out. Connor is on the computer again looking something up. Flash to Abby in her underwear dancing with Rex. Enter Conner who loves Abby's place. Connor fines Rex and guilt’s Abby into coming with him to look for anomaly.

Back to the underground and a man is a spraying around for what I can assume would be bugs and rats... not sure and really don't want to know. Noises happening but doesn't seem to freak the man out. Nope not for rats considering he just stepped over one but no worries a strange bug just ate that one so that should help.

Now we see Claudia and Leister which shows us Claudia defending Cutter back to a forest like area but not the Forest of Dean it looks really cold I still say this isn’t going to go well.

Spraying man sits down to eat and doesn't even wash his hands GROSS plus he drops an apple and picks it up to eat it again no washing HELLO you spray bugs that shit stays on you.

Flash to Cutter eating an apple and Claudia Brown coming in to his office Cutter thinks he is to blame for her death.

Connor and Abby decide to camp out to see about another dino Connor is trying so hard to flirt with Abby but she isn't having it. Instead she asks about Steven and if he is seeing anyone. Breaks Connor's heart so he tells her he's never seen him with a woman he might not like them. He could be gay. LOL not a great way to ease into a conversation Abby gets pissy and walks away.

Cutter asks what the plan is from Claudia "a cover-up Conner with be thrilled" Steven bust in he has a text from Abby that they have gone to investigate a possibly anomaly.

It is now dark looks like Conner is getting a text Abby is worried b/c she sees something turns out to be a joke by Connor's supposed friends this gets him kicked off the team for you know breaking the secret act.

Back in subway different sprayer or maybe the same they all look alike in yellow plastic suits any who the stupid man gets bitten by a spider.

Cutter comes to the forest Connor blames himself and Cutter agrees sending Connor away telling him to find a new advisor sucks for him.

DAMN IT I really like Connor.

Stupid spray man is in the hospital turns out the man is dying from poison Cutter points out that it is more of a bite. My goodness Cutter is very attractive. I really do like to look at the man.

Leister agrees to shut down the tunnels where the man was bitten.

Off they go in their black cars to the underground with a huge military presence Cutter shows up with Abby and Steven. Only Special Forces (SF) go first which ticks off Steven and Cutter cause they the badest b*tches up in here. LOL sorry couldn't resist.

Now we go to SF and night vision oh noes this isn't going to end well I can tell you that right now. Contact oh look it’s a spider bigger than my leg and they are all over the ceiling I am done!! HOLY GOD they just attacked shoots me now it is like my worst nightmare coming true. I would hate to have to be listening to this shit over the radio.

Everyone is sick and Nick is given permission to go and see the site for himself.

I am not a fan of Ryan can't wait until Becker comes in and that is just a total side girl/fangirl note. Moving on...

In goes Cutter and crowd lol looking all bad ass apparently spiders here are sensitive to the light oh PS cutter and group look up and all around you these bugs is smart.

Cutter: I don’t like this" seriously my friend who the hell would?

Steven steps on one which is funny just the expression alone.

Abby finds a cut out in a fence and they head into another part of the tunnel look its anther anomaly yay or maybe not.

All of the sudden the spiders start heading back and Abby wonders why turns out something nastier is in the room not just the spiders.

It attacks and ewe Steven can't see it b/c its above him on the ceiling Nick lets it chase him so Abby and Steven can get out of here. He barely made it thru to another door and hears his dear sweet psycho wife calling his name.

Claudia and Steven argue about it which means since they don't know what they are dealing with Connor gets called back.

YAY for Sarai finally we get Connor I'm super happy about it. *clears throat* 

Steven goes back to the tunnels in hopes of finding Cutter his BFF before going he gets a blow torch I'm assuming that is what it is. yep that's what it is well don't waste all the fire on the stupid spiders seriously my friend wait until you see the nasty monster. Doesn’t matter cause Steven gets bitten swears he sees Helen and Cutter has to figure out what to do..

Claudia knows that Steven now is not answering she is pissed sends Ryan down Connor makes a grand entrance.

Holy shit Helen is back I freaking hate that brood. She can't die soon enough for me.

Cutter finds Steven and tries to help him but Steven has been poisoned Steven tells Cutter that Helen's alive she gave me a message she's waiting on the other side of the shiny thing if you want to know the truth you have to go after her.

Bloody bitch I really don't like here.

Steven tells Abby that she is beautiful they flirt they are at the hospital and they need the venom from the thing that bit him.

So back into the creepy ass tunnel making sure that the spiders head through the shiny thing.

Cutter is back in the tunnel looking for the dangerous centipede back to Connor who must save the day to make up for being an idiot again with its my fault Steven is going to die yadda yadda yadda.

And Cutter decides to go in and Connor too he says goodbye to Abby.

And into a dark cramped hole they go in hopes of getting some venom. that whole sentence is wrong seriously did the writers sit down and go what is the stupidest thing we could have 2 grown men do to save a friend oh yeah go through a dark hole after a poisonous centipede oh well at least they brought Ryan with them who has a gun someone in this whole bloody operation is being smart finally.

They make it to the bug who does attack they manage to get the venom and kill the damn monster back at the hospital we see Abby and Conner waiting to see if Steven will make it.

Connor "you really like him don’t you" Connor understands b/c he is in love with Buffy the Vampire slayer LOL love him and his references (PS I am currently doing a re-watch of that series now so go figure.)

Steven wakes up and is sitting in bed reading Claudia Black comes in to the room and asked about Helen

Steven doesn't remember and now here's Abby who asked him what he remembers apparently he doesn't remember telling Abby he likes her.

Abby is upset as would I be

Flash back to Cutter staring at the shiny thing and Connor appears to talk to him. Connor wants to be back in he gets an atta boy. Connor: All my life I wanted to being a crime busting gang and now I am. I don't suppose you'd consider giving me a cool nickname? Gawd how can you not love this character.

Nick debates about going through after his wife and ask where she is and what does she want. But he is smart enough to not go in.

Again a flash forward to show us what will happen next time LOL and well you know my feelings on that!

Primeval Season 1 reviews

Season 1
Episode #1.1 ~ Summary
Evolutionary zoologist Professor Nick Cutter has still not come to terms with the disappearance of his wife Helen eight years ago. She is on his mind when he goes to the Forest of Dean with his friends Stephen Hart (an expert tracker) and Connor Temple (an archaeology student and avid conspiracy theorist) to investigate some reports of a large animal at large there. After finding some damage done by something large with claws they retire to a local hotel bar where Cutting is approached in a matter sure to get his immediate attention by Claudia Brown, a young employee ...

My notes as I watch:
Girl running from dino huh could be interesting....
I have to admit off to a good start.
I love how cutter meets Connor "I derived that all organisms came from aliens it's pretty sexy stuff."
After its thrown in the trash he says, "Its a work in progress" lol kills me.
Oh my Claudia Black just walked up and kissed a random stranger to get away from another person.
I do have to say Oh my with Steven he is one very attractive male. I might just like this show more than I thought.
And Rex is a super cute lizard.
Oh no the boy apparently has never seen a horror film you don't walk toward or in the mystery shiny light thingy.
Holy shit that was a weird monster.
So apparently monsters are real well that should help me sleep better at night...
I have to give the boy mad props on leaving behind anyone that would or could slow him down and heading straight for home LOL a lad after my own heart.
Well until he cut himself and the dino followed him .home. Memo to me no blood trail when hunting dinos.... plus he tried to kill it with a light saber come on the kid has style.
Yet another dino.
So they all travel to find the boy after finding the boy and we met Abby.
Apparently the boy "Ben" has seen the past.
So they decide to scare the nice dino to see where he thought was safe.
And that leads them to a shiny light.
Welcome morning and well the government to show up I do have to admit I am digging Nick Cutter's haircut.
Nick believes that his wife is in the shiny thing saying it explains everything Steven says except why she didn't come back. I mean this is a good point why didn't she come back if she loved you as much as you love her. Or are you just feeling guilty about something?
And now we meet Lesiter LOL one of my favorites.
So why Abby and Nick go to the "government" Connor and Steven go on the hunt. "I'm not really outdoorsy sinus, allergies and well the list is long LOL heart me some Connor.
And now we find out the shiny thing is called an Anomaly.
Cutter insults Lesisters who shoots back very interesting first meeting.
And already Connor is asking about Abby this looks promising.
Abby is mad at how they are treating Rex until Rex flies away after which Abby and Claudia chase after him.
Cute scene with Rex bobbing his head along to elevator music LOL Rex apparently knows how to cause some problems and enjoys doing it.
Its interesting to watch Abby work with him helps to understand why she is a lizard expert except you now when Rex flies away well never mind cause he came back.
Steven and Connor are still on the hunt well Steven is, not so much of Conner.
Steven: what do you think of this? Connor I think the scientific term is really bad news.
Where the HELL did Connor find Wi-fi in the forest?

Ew gross the dino is drooling and Stephen just walked in a circle and now we're back to Ben seriously does this dino have it in for the kid or what?
There has to be easier prey then tracking this kid down at school.
How come no one ever listens to the kids. I mean even if you don't believe there is a dino out there opening the door when you hear a weird noise isn't a good idea no matter what.
Steven to the rescue with a "Pick on someone your own size" comment.
Lots of running and of course he runs to a locked door seriously well at least it doesn't stay locked for long as he pushes Steven through it and knocks him out.
Capt Ryan is the military man going through the anomaly with Cutter.
And through the shiny thing we go with Rex of course.
I wonder how long this episode is? and are they all going to be this long in length?
It is warm and bright on the other side a opposed to rainy and dreary.
Connor realizes the anomaly is getting weaker b/c his metal pen didn't go through it.
Cutter goes off on his own for what I suspect is to look for his long lost wife who picked the past over him... just saying this kind of reminds me of a discovery channel show.
Oh my looks like we have a dead body.
Someone has been here before us and they brought a camera Cutter counts the ribs to make sure it’s not his wife SERIOUSLY it’s been 8 years and from what I can tell she didn't care about you dude so move on already. Plus you don't even know if she is alive here or not.
Military guy knocks him out.
Cutter I'm staying here to look for my wife. Normally I would support this but really you are getting annoying with the whole guilt thing.
They make it thru right as the shiny thing closes.
The mean dino comes thru and Claudia trips and falls not surprising since she is wear heels in the forest get smart.
Anyway Steven puts the dino down and that folks was all she wrote.
Now back at the office and they see a picture of Helen from the film brought back. Lesiter thinks its over and Cutter is not convinced he wants to know what happens next.
The team walks away in a dramatic way and we flash to Cutter at this university office looking at pictures of his missing wife. As he goes into another room a shadow passes and his picture is missing he goes to chase down the shadow and thins he sees his wife in the street lamp but when he gets there she's gone.... Oh what is this setting us up for I wonder?
